NHL Montreal's Francis Bouillon would play 'still a couple of years'
Francis Bouillon is well rested. Maybe a little too much to his taste.
The 38 year old defender is preparing to resume activities in the NHL with the hope that he can play more in the final stretch of the schedule he has done since the beginning of 2014. Bouillon attended only 4 of the last 14 games of the Canadian and he tries his best to keep evil spirits.
"It's never easy when you do not play , he was admitted yesterday . It is an honor to play in the NHL , especially when you want to keep playing even a couple of years . It is sometimes frustrating , but I 've always been a good teammate and I keep a good communication with the organization. "
Swarthy complexion by vacations, Bouillon ensures that the end of its career it never came to mind during the leave .
"It would be easier if the word" retirement " came back in my head , but I am so not there, he has said. If I saw myself physically slow and I realized that I no longer report in this league , I 'd be honest enough to tell me. But I do not see any difference at 38 years compared to the performance I offered 33 years. This is why I do not think that.

Former NHL defender Georges Laraque's brain under the microscope
No fighter had never dared to submit his brain to further investigation and submit the results to the public. Those who know the personality and daring Georges Laraque will not be surprised that he agreed to act as a guinea pig at the request of La Presse .
He said he decided to experiment by viewing the documentary Brawler Inc. in which the former hockey André Roy refuses to do so. "I wanted to prove that I could be the exception that proves the rule, and a fighter who has not received a lot of hits and leads a healthy life outside of the ice can get by. "
Press has made an appointment with the former tough Canadian hospital of the Sacred Heart with the neuropsychologist Louis De Beaumont, global specialist in long-term effects of concussions. "If I had been the legacy of my fights, I would have been nervous, but I'm sure to get good results and have a brain in good condition because I never suffered concussions in 120 battles . I never received any blows that made me fall or lose memory, "he says.

"We played with fire, said the small defender who played his first game after five straight games in the stands. We respected our plan to perfection in the first half, but we lost the pace in second. The Predators took the opportunity to bounce back with two goals. We fought hard in the third period even if the Preds tied. "
"It's still proof that to win a game in the NHL you have to play well for 60 minutes. The most important is the final result. There are two more points in the standings. "

ECHL.com Alumni Profile: Francis Bouillon
It was hard for Francis Bouillon to imagine that things could get any better. The year was 1996, and he was just 20 years old at the time, fresh off of winning the Memorial Cup with the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League’s Granby Predateurs.
Regarded as a gritty defenseman with offensive upside at the time, Bouillon was never drafted, despite his point totals climbing steadily with each junior season. But as it turns out, he also put himself on the map during his championship-winning year, and ended up signing a deal to play in the ECHL with the Wheeling Nailers for the 1996-97 season.
