Haiti, the first black republic in the world, yesterday issued a tribute to Nelson Mandela, the symbol of the universal struggle for the equality of races and democracy. The President of the Republic, HE Mr. Michel Joseph Martelly was in Johannesburg to attend the state funeral of former South African president.
In these sad tomorrow, I like to think that the departure of the legendary heroes inspire us all and all, here in Haiti, to ignore our differences and to follow the example of his great heart, who wanted above all to reconcile men and was achieved despite the magnitude of the political crisis that has gone through.
