Ferrari auctioned the first copy of Ferrari 458 Italia destined to U.S. market. The entire amount collected will be for the victims of Haiti.
First Ferrari 458 Italia for the U.S. market was sold in an auction against payment of $530,000, the entire amount was meant for a fund to assist the victims of the earthquake on Haiti. The auction was organized in Los Angeles by Ferrari officials, taking part in this 500 guest names in the high-class world of overseas.
In addition to the amount gathered in the auction for the Italian model, Ferrari on sale the same opportunity to tender for two VIP tickets to the team Cabra Pony at Canadian Formula 1 Grand Prix in 2010 and for officially slip that Fernando Alonso weared in F1 this year. These two auctions have gathered extra over $68,000.
Amedeo Felisa and Ferrari Piero attended to the event in U.S., the vice president and the manager of the Italian companiy delegation, which announced on this occasion that the Orthopedic Surgery Department of University at Modena will make available to medical teams in Haiti their own resources and competencies for help wounded of the disaster.
