aipei, Jan. 26 (CNA) Taiwan's new ambassador to Haiti, Peter Hwang, will formally assume his duties in the Caribbean country early next month. Hwang, who served as head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Department of Policy Planning before his new assignment, said he will bring a few albums of Taiwanese singers and bands as gifts to Haiti President Michel Martelly. Martelly was a pop singer before he was elected Haiti's president in 2011.
