Bermane Stiverne rematch against Chris Arreola under discussion for 6/21 in Mexico

On Tuesday, promoter Don King traveled to Mexico for a meeting with Cancun Boxing CEO Pepe Gomez, and local officials, to discuss the details of a planned card in Villahermosa in June. According to the promoters, the main event of the evening will feature a showdown between heavyweights Bermane "B. Ware" Stiverne (23-1-1, 20 KO's) and Chris "The Nightmare" Arreola (36-3, 31 KO's), who will collide in a rematch for the vacant World Boxing Council heavyweight crown that was vacated by Vitali Klitschko.

King and Gomez previously worked together on the last heavyweight title fight which took place in Mexico, in March of 2008 at the Plaza de Toros in Cancun, where Samuel Peter captured the WBC title from Oleg Maskaev.

The working date was revealed to be June 21.
