(Monaco) Pauline Marois is silent on the application of Michaëlle Jean to the International Organization of the Francophonie (OIF).
The former represents the British monarchy in Canada would now be elected head of the Francophonie. This fall, Ms. Jean told the Senegalese magazine Succeeding it was "very helpful." She is currently a Special Envoy of UNESCO in Haiti.
