Monaco have agreed terms with promising Haitian defender Nicolas Isimat-Mirin ahead of a summer move from Valenciennes.
The 21-year-old was being chased by three clubs, according to the club’s president, and the deal is believed to be worth around £4.2 million.
And Isimat-Mirin, though not yet officially a Monaco player, told Telefoot: “I want to grow with [Monaco].
“I could not refuse such a project so I just decided to go.”
Monaco have embarked on a staggering spending spree in recent weeks, and have already secured the signings of Radamel Falcao, Joao Moutinho, James Rodriguez and Ricardo Carvalho.
