Netflix has struck a multiyear licensing deal with Flavor Unit Entertainment, the production company owned by Queen Latifah and Shakim Compere.
The agreement, which begins in spring 2013, will give Netflix a first opportunity to stream movies from the Flavor Unit collection after they are released in theaters. Flavor Unit is behind the upcoming Terrence Howard thriller House of Bodies and the crime title Percentage, among others.
