Ambitious Ligue 1 side Monaco are eyeing up a bid for Valenciennes centre-back and France Under-21 international Nicolas Isimat-Mirin.
Isimat-Mirin has seen his stock rise during the 2012/13 campaign, registering a total 31 appearances under head coach Daniel Sanchez and scoring a goal along the way.
The youngster’s bags of potential and uncanny defensive abilities may well have piqued the interest of Monaco, who are now believed to be pondering a move for the 21-year-old Frenchman.
True enough, according to Le 10 Sport, an announcement is about to be made soon about Isimat-Mirin’s transfer to the Stade Louis II, with the transfer fee believed to be in the range of €5m.
