The Best Western Premier Petion-Ville, the first Best Western Premier in the Caribbean, opened last week in Haiti.
The March 28 opening marked what Dallas-based Aimbridge Hospitality, which opened the hotel along with Haiti-based Carabimmo SA and Best Western International, called "the first full–service corporate U.S. brand hotel to open in Haiti."
The $15 million, seven-story hotel has 106 guest rooms and three executive and imperial suites.
Amenities include WiFi, 42-inch flat-screen TVs, 2,000 square feet of meeting space that can accommodate from six to 160 guests, a pool, a full-service spa and gym, and concierge service.
