With the NFL Draft barely two weeks away (April 22-24), it’s about time to start making legitimate assessments and prognostications of where UMass offensive tiackle Vlad Ducasse will end up.

CBSSports.com has Ducasse ranked as the eighth best OT prospect, No. 59 overall. Such high praise is leading some to believe the Haitian-born OL could hear his name called on the first night of the draft.

According to the mock (updated March 30) on FootballsFuture.com, Ducasse will go No. 27 overall to the Dallas Cowboys.
Ducasse is a big time talent but may need some time to develop. He could play tackle or guard, and he would provide depth early on at both spots. He could be the eventual replacement for Flozell Adams or could simply slide into a guard spot down the road. His upside is huge and he gives them some flexibility going forward.

In MyNFLDraft.com’s mock draft (updated April 5), the monster Minuteman is slated to go mid-way through the second round: No. 45 to the Denver Broncos.

The results are identical on DraftCountdown.com’s mock big-board, with Ducasse heading to the Mile High City at No. 45.
Interior o-line help is needed and this is the type of mauler they're moving towards.

WalterFootball.com updated its mock draft April 6, and has Ducasse falling into Round 3 to pick No. 70 and the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Eagles had major problems keeping DeMarcus Ware, Anthony Spencer and Jay Ratliff out of the backfield. They'll need to find multiple upgrades on the offensive front in the 2010 NFL Draft.

The 77th overall selection and the New York Giants is where DraftSite.com sees UMass’ blue chipper headed.

Now it's your turn. Leave a comment below and let us know where you think Ducasse will end up after the NFL Draft?
