Tokyo, Sept. 10 (Jiji Press)--The Japanese government said Wednesday it will send emergency supplies worth about 22 million yen to Haiti, where hurricanes Hanna and Ike have killed more than 170 people and affected over 80,000 households.
The aid package includes tents and blankets.
Japan has already given aid supplies worth 17 million yen to the Caribbean nation for those affected by Hurricane Gustav.END
