UN troops clashed with protesters in the Haitian capital Port-au-Prince, Friday. The UN peacekeepers and local police fired tear gas to disperse the crowds and establish a barricade to prevent the protesters from reaching the US embassy. The demonstration was part of a wider action demanding the resignation of President Michel Martelly and Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe.
