Patrice Bernier nominated for 'Player of the Year' in Canada

OTTAWA - The name of the midfielder Patrice Bernier Montreal Impact can be found on the list of candidates for player of the year in Canada.

The Canadian Soccer Association announced Monday nominated in different categories, to reward athletes who have distinguished themselves with their club and national teams. The winners, chosen by journalists and coaches, will be announced during the week of December 9 to 13.

Last year, in 31 games with the Impact, including 28 as a starter, Bernier scored four goals and provided eight assists, while going 2464 minutes in the field. He directed 23 shots at the net.
