VIDEO: Susan Fales-Hill talks Life, Career and 'Imperfect Bliss' on 5x15 New York



Susan Fales-Hill. a Haitian novelist and actress, began her writing career as an apprentice on the original Cosby Show. After two years on staff, she was transferred to, A Different World as a Story Editor. She went on to become Executive Producer of the CBS sitcom, Can't Hurry Love. Later she served first as Executive Producer of Kirk, then as a Consulting Producer on the television series Suddenly Susan. Susan co-created the Showtime original series Linc's and served for two seasons as its Executive Producer. Susan is the recipient of the Producer’s Guild of America’s Nova award, a Special Recognition Award from the Friends of the Black Emmys, and the Excellence and Heritage Award from Dillard University. She has written for Town & Country, Vogue, Glamour, American Heritage, Ebony, Essence, Avenue, and Travel and Leisure and in 2003 published Always Wear Joy, a memoir about her mother, the late actress/singer/dancer, Josephine Premice. Her debut novel, One Flight Up, was published in 2010 and her most recently novel is Imperfect Bliss.
