Jason DeRulo drops $1.75m on new Florida home

This “Don’t Wanna Go Home” singer is changing his tune.
Globe-trotting R&B crooner and Miami native Jason Derulo is putting down some roots of his own in South Florida, plunking down $1.75 million for a mansion about 40 miles outside South Beach, Celebuzz has learned.

And this not-so-humble abode is custom fit for the rising superstar with enough room for his family, girlfriend Jordin Sparks and their entourage (given that it comes with a whopping 9 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms!)

Newly-built and renovated in 2010, Derulo bought the Mediterranean-style pad in Dec. 2012, according to property records. The sprawling 11,500 square foot spread sits on a natural preserve area and offers a serene and tranquil home away from the hectic life of touring around the world.

When he’s not performing, the 26-year-old can relax on the putting green -- the new manse is directly across from the private and exclusive Adios golf course, but if he doesn’t want to venture outside he doesn’t have to. Inside is full of A-list amenities, like a 4-car garage, fenced entrance, elegant marble floors, coffered ceilings, oversized gourmet kitchen, granite countertops, entertainer’s patio and pool and separate guest house.
