Fitzgerald "Fidgi" Haig, a retired Haitian soccer player and now coach, was inducted into the Florida Tech Sports Hall of Fame on Feb. 1, 2013.
In 58 games from 1987-90, Haig scored 45 goals and handed out 18 assists for 108 points as a forward. He helped the Panthers win their first NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Championship in 1988.
He has been a successful coach at the club level, as the girls soccer coach at Satellite High School and as the women's soccer coach at FIT.
Haig graduated from FIT in 1992 with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
