Naomi Campbell has been given permission to fly to Haiti after a previously planned trip was called off due to an outbreak of malaria.
The supermodel hosted star-studded catwalk shows as part of her Fashion for Relief campaign to aid recovery in the Caribbean country, which was struck by a massive tremor in January
She was due to fly there in April to distribute the donations she helped raise and lend a hand to survivors but the charity mission was scrapped after the mosquito-borne disease began spreading in the region.
But Campbell, who celebrated her 40th birthday in the south of France on Saturday, has now been given the all-clear to travel to Haiti next month.
She says, "I was so disappointed not to be able to make it at Easter, but I was advised that the malaria outbreak made it very dangerous. I will go at the end of June. It's really important for me and everyone who supported Fashion for Relief to see where the money has gone."
