Jimmy Henchman's son responds to 50 Cent's 'Hold On' lyrics

James Rosemond Jr. recently caught wind of 50 Cent's latest release, "Hold On," and he swiftly dropped a flag on the play.

The song, which Fif debuted at SXSW as a track off his forthcoming Animal Ambition, includes the lyrics: "On the phone I heard Yay' smacked the s--t out a kid / Now Jimmy got life, we'll smack him again / When it's war, it will be war 'til the bitter end / If they ever say we lose, I'll start it again."

The fist line could be a reference to 2007, when G-Unit member Tony Yayo was arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault, harassment and endangering the welfare of a minor for allegedly slapping a then 14-year-old Rosemond Jr. after he spotted the teenager walking towards his father's office.

Junior is son of James "Jimmy Henchman" Rosemond, who was just handed a life sentence and is on trial for the murder-for-hire of G-Unit affiliate Lowell "Lodi Mack" Fletcher in connection with years of operating a drug trafficking ring and using his music management company as a front. The company, Czar Entertainment, handled former G-Unit signee-turned-enemy Game.

50 hasn't been named in any of the violence, but he has openly mocked Rosemond Sr.

Snitch testifies Haitian druglord Jimmy Henchman ordered violent acts against Tony Yayo and 50 Cent

(AllHipHop News) Three former associates of James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond testified against their former boss during his current murder trial. As witnesses for the prosecution, Khalil Abdullah, Brian McCleod, and Mohammed Stewart told the jury that Henchman ordered them to engage in violent acts against 50 Cent and his G-Unit crew.

Henchman and 50′s G-Unit had a long running feud that allegedly included family members being assaulted, gun shoot outs, and cars being burned. According to prosecutors the end result was a murder-for-hire plot orchestrated by Henchman that left G-Unit associate Lowell “Lodi Mack” Fletcher dead.

Abdullah claims that after violent incidents involving Rosemond, his son, and G-Unit’s Tony Yayo, he hired gunmen to shoot at Yayo’s Bentley. The former member of the Rosemond drug organization also testified Henchman admitted to hiring hitmen to kill Fletcher.

McCleod testified Henchman offered him $30,000 to ambush Fletcher. He also said Henchman wanted to kill Fletcher himself before being convinced to let someone else do it. McCleod stated he got Fletcher to go to the Bronx for the strike by promising money and women, then he and trigger man Derrick Grant received a kilo of cocaine as payment from Henchman.

Haitian druglord Jimmy Henchman plotted two attempts on 50 Cent's life

A former music executive on trial for murder had been “thirsty for blood” as he drove past 50 Cent’s apartment on the Hudson River, a key government witness testified Friday, before his credibility crumbled on cross-examination.

Already serving life after an unrelated 2012 federal trial in Brooklyn, James “Jimmy the Henchman” Rosemond faces a new jury weighing whether he paid goons drugs and cash to kill Lowell Fletcher, affiliated with 50 Cent’s crew G-Unit.

Prosecutors called cooperating witness Mohammad Stewart to make the case that the former hip-hop manager ordered Fletcher’s murder on Sept. 7, 2009, as payback for an assault on his 14-year-old son.

Stewart has been cooperating with the government since April 16, 2010, the same day that three branches of federal agents arrested him on drug- and firearm-related charges.

For a day and a half, Stewart has regaled jurors with sordid accounts of Rosemond’s alleged exploits, including two attempts on 50 Cent’s life.

Haitian rap mogul murder-for-hire trial under way

When James Rosemond, aka Jimmy Henchman, was out on the street, he was living two lives. As James Rosemond he was a well-respected music industry executive who worked with popular artists like Brandy, Salt-n-Pepa, Sean Kingston, the Game and Akon.

As Jimmy Henchman, he was a well-respected gangster whose beef with rapper 50 Cent's G-Unit crew lead to Rosemond allegedly orchestrating a hit against G-Unit associate Lowell Fletcher in 2009 for slapping Rosemond's 14-year-old son.

"In the public eye and on the surface, Rosemond was known as an executive in the music industry," Assistant U.S. Attorney Samson Enzer said during opening statements in Manhattan Federal Court, New York's Daily News reports. "But beneath the surface, Rosemond was known as a ruthless criminal who ran his rap business like a street gang."

On Monday, the murder-for-hire trial of Rosemond, 49—who is currently serving a life sentence for masterminding a massive drug enterprise—got under way.

Report: Diddy attempted to broker peace in Jimmy Henchman, G-Unit conflict

The beef between James "Jimmy Henchman" Rosemond and 50 Cent's G-Unit crew could have been squashed if both parties would've listened to Diddy, a prosecution witness revealed in Manhattan Federal Court Wednesday (Feb. 12).

Rosemond is on trial for ordering the murder of G-Unit associate Lowell Fletcher. On the stand yesterday, the 40-year-old's former cocaine runner, Khalil Abdullah, detailed a secret meeting between the Czar Entertainment founder and 50. Abdullah and Fif's manager, Chris Lighty — who died of an apparent suicide in 2012 — were on hand for what turned into another heated run-in between the opposing sides.

According to Abdullah, the Violator Management founder attacked Rosemond. "Chris ended up mushing Rosemond in the face," he said. "Puff jumped in between them and broke it up."

The peace-making gesture eventually gave way to yet another boiling point in 2007, when G-Unit member Tony Yayo allegedly roughed up Rosemond's teen son. Reportedly, Rosemond told Abdullah to have Lighty shot in the leg as retaliation for Yayo slapping the boy, but the plan never came into fruition.

Haitian druglord Jimmy Henchman says Feds questioned him about Sean 'Diddy' Combs sleeping with little boys

It was shocking news when music industry figure Jimmy Henchman was arrested and charged with heading up a huge cocaine enterprise. Now that Henchman is behind bars, there are more shocking details are being unearthed in this case. Jimmy Henchman alleges the feds interrogated him about whether or not music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs liked to have sex with underaged boys.

According to The Smoking Gun, Henchman, real name James Rosemond, began having meetings with federal investigators so they could determine if he should be offered a plea deal. While Henchman did recount stories of his business dealings within the drug game, he claims the feds also asked him questions about the sexual preferences of a lot of his music industry contacts. The main one they focused on was Diddy.

In an affidavit, Henchman said they asked him about Diddy and his rumored love affair with underaged boys, but Henchman didn’t reveal any information about Diddy or his sexual tastes. Henchman says he doesn’t anything about Diddy’s sexual exploits because they were only “cordial” towards each other.

The reason all of this is coming out now is Henchman is trying to appeal his previous sentence. He and his lawyers wrote in court documents that when the feds realized Henchman didn’t have any pertinent information about Diddy and other celebrities sexual exploits, which he never explains why the feds asked, they rejected any and all offers to strike a plea deal. The prosecutors countered Jimmy Henchman’s affidavit by saying he was untrustworthy and lied during the debriefing sessions.

We don’t know what to make of this. There are so many questions that still need to be answered. Where’s Matlock when you need him? He always found out all of the evidence.
