Even as Ukraine continues to face internal riots and Russian armed intervention, new video footage has emerged that shows members of the notorious US security firm Blackwater, running through the streets of Donetsk in Ukraine.
The YouTube videos show men dressed in US-style military outfits running through the streets of the city guns and bullet-proof body gear. (SCROLL DOWN FOR VIDEO)
The videos also show the men being chased by the residents, with locals shouting "Blackwater, Blackwater".
Blackwater, also known as "Academi", is the name of the US mercenary company based in Virginia.
A Russian diplomat in Kiev said that 300 employees of private security companies had arrived in the country.
"These are soldiers of fortune proficient in combat operations. Most of them had operated under private contracts in Iraq, Afghanistan and other states," the Russian diplomat told Russia's Interfax news agency.
